We couldn't agree more with Twain's notion of the watermelon, and this variety is one of exemplarity. It is a wonderful, early-maturing variety that grows large fruits (around 15 pounds each for us but can be ripe when between 10-30 pounds). Excellent flavor, not too sweet but certainly sweet enough, containing few seeds. Fruit keeps for at least a month. 20 seeds.
